East Los Angeles Town Hall Meeting on Educational Reform

Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa hosted a town hall meeting at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lincoln Heights on August 8, 2006. The Mayor facilitated a community dialogue on the state of education of Los Angeles public schools, the need for education reform and the plan for Mayoral governance of LAUSD. BHLC staff members attended the event and joined other community organizations as volunteers to help with the preparation of the event.
