ELL Tools for Parents: Sunrise Elementary - Session 2

Targeting parents of English Language Learners at Sunrise elementary school, BHLC's "ELL Tools for Parents" equips parents with the leadership,advocacy and informational tools needed to help parents work with teachers to ensure students efficiently reclassify into mainstream education.

Lesson 2: The Reclassification Criteria & Children's Learning Needs
This 2-hour session provides parents with strategies to help them become more informed of their child's learning needs. For a deeper understanding of how report cards and standardized test scores are used in the reclassification process, the session gives parents the opportunity to works hands-on with the reclassification criteria.
