This activity is a follow-up to the March 2006, Family/Community Networking and Best Practices Workshop.

A small group of parent leaders from each of the partner organizations of ENLACE will work to:

• gather information about how to engage families in helping their children prepare early for higher education,
• share what is working in our own communities,
• gain knowledge of advocacy strategies, and
• facilitate a dialogue among those within our own group that will outline next steps to strengthen such efforts in our own communities. 

BHLC is a associate of the California ENLACE family and will be bringing a small group of parents to participate in this dialogue.
