Alberto Martinez Jr

As the Communications and Technology Coordinator, Alberto Martinez Jr. enables the BHLC to communicate strategically both to the outside world and to our internal membership. He manages all information technology for the organization such as maintaining networking, printing and computer software and hardware, maintaining the BHLC websites and supporting program staff with technology needs. 

He has extensive experience with hands-on Web and Information Technology projects having worked for large entertainment companies including Interscope, Universal, Navarre, Warner Brothers and Capitol Records.  He is also involved in A.N.G.I.E (A New Generation In Entertainment), a non profit organization that teaches kids about television, radio and new media technologies through hands on experience at real media outlets. Mr. Martinez was born and raised in East Los Angeles and is fluent in Spanish. As the son of two Mexican immigrants, he is the first person in his family to experience education beyond the Elementary School level. Mr. Martinez attended Don Bosco Technical Institute where he graduated with an emphasis in Graphic Communications and is presently completing his Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Digital Media.
